One palazzo,
one family,
one city to tell.
Zibibbo Suites & Rooms is not a hotel like any other. It is Palazzo Mauro, a noble building from 1843 in the heart of Trapani, where the ceilings are still the original ones and hospitality is not a service — it's a habit.

The storyPalazzo Mauro, 19th century
Built in the mid-19th century as a noble residence, Palazzo Mauro is one of the historic buildings on Via Libertà. High ceilings, original majolica floors, wrought-iron balconies: the Sicilian architecture that has been telling the story of the Mediterranean for generations.
When we decided to turn it into a guesthouse, the idea was simple: preserve the soul of the palazzo and make it accessible to those visiting Trapani. No demolitions. Just patient restoration, colour choices inspired by Caltagirone ceramics and hand-crafted hospitality.
Today Palazzo Mauro hosts rooms and suites — different options under the same roof — and is managed by a small team that lives just a few minutes' walk away.
